Creating Deduplication

Deduplication is a feature that prevents the creation of duplicate records within the app.

Configuring a Deduplication

  1. To create a deduplication, click the "deduplication" tab on the app settings screen and click the "Add new deduplication" button.

  2. The setting screen will be displayed, so make the settings that suit your purpose.

    Error Message:

    Enter the error message to display if duplicates are found.

    Fetch Criteria:

    Specify the condition of the record to be judged as duplicate.

    The following fields cannot be specified.

    • in-table field
    • file, canvas, spacer
  3. After completing the settings, click the "OK" button at the bottom of the screen, and then click the "Update App" button on the app settings screen.

    About buttons

    A:

    Display the deduplication setting screen.

    B:

    Copy the deduplication.

    C:

    Delete the deduplication.

  4. You can freely change the order by dragging the deduplication name up and down.

You can make changes to the deduplication afterward even if it is already configured.

Duplicate detection

When you save a record, you will receive an error message if a record that matches the criteria already exists.
